01 / ABOUT ME
Guglielmo Parisi.

I graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Catania, where I went on to specialise in Ophthalmology. During my training, I gained extensive experience in clinical and instrumental diagnosis, as well as the surgical treatment of major eye conditions, including emergencies.
Since 2020, I have worked as a consultant ophthalmologist at A.O.U. Città della Salute e della Scienza di Torino, within the University Eye Clinic at the Molinette/San Lazzaro hospital sites. I lead the Vitreoretinal Surgery Service, with a particular focus on cataract and retinal surgery. Between 2023 and 2024, I also worked as a consultant in vitreoretinal surgery and complex cases at Ospedale degli Infermi in Biella, further broadening my professional experience.
My passion for ophthalmology extends beyond clinical practice and surgery. I regularly participate in national and international conferences, both as a speaker and attendee, collaborate on clinical research projects, and teach on surgical training courses. I also mentor doctors specialising in ophthalmology, helping them develop their skills.
02 / MY WORK
Eye surgery. A lifelong passion.
Eye surgery is at the heart of my professional work and is also one of my greatest passions.

This field is constantly evolving, driven by ongoing research and technological innovation. Taking an active part in developing new surgical approaches and techniques is deeply rewarding. It allows me to tailor treatment to each patient and aim for the best possible results.
Increasingly sophisticated instruments, the latest lasers and 3D visualisation systems now allow greater precision and more personalised treatment. Listening to each patient and agreeing on the most suitable treatment plan together remain essential.
